Canon Rebel T2 35mm SLR Camera Review

Saturday, September 4th, 2010

The Canon Rebel T2 35mm SLR Camera design is both luxurious and ergonomic, its body is surprisingly light. Clearly, the Canon Rebel T2 is one of the most comfortable camera’s to use, with its secure grip it is perfectly suited for one-handed use. Compared to similar camera’s, its large LCD-screen on the rear is heaven on earth. Put it all together and you’ve got the most user-friendly and advanced SLR in its class.

The Rebel T2 is one of the most powerful camera’s I know off and has more functions and features then you could imagine. Let me just give you a few of its outstanding features in a row:

  1. Fully Automatic 35mm Auto-focus SLR
  2. Advanced 35-zone metering feature included in the 7-point high speed, wide area selectable AF
  3. Advanced E-TTL II Auto-Flash and Enhanced built-in Flash
  4. Ultrasonic motor supporting the 28-90mm lens with 3,2x zoom
  5. Compatible with most EOS System Accessories

This camera suits the needs of:

  1. professional photographers that are both skilled and experienced
  2. hobby and semi-professional photographers who’d like to shoot more professional photo’s
  3. photography students that are serious about their studies
  • Packed with amazing features and options
  • Great handling, good manual – in one word, userfriendly
  • Canon overdelivered and underpriced this time
  • Some of the more advanced options will be dazzling to the beginner. The included manual explains them great though
  • As my conclusion I would say that Canon really made something of great quality and value with the Canon Rebel T2. With this camera you will be able to shoot magnificent pictures. Its intuitive handling and high compatibility will greatly increase your joy at photographing. It is easily worth the price Canon asks for it.

how to make a fisheye for digital cameras (description)

    Friday, September 3rd, 2010

okay so cut the top off of a gatorade bottle, DONT LOSE THE CAP…..then find some cardboard to cover up the open end you created. now tape the cardboard to you bottle and make a hole in the middle so you can put a door peephole in it, (((8 bucks at Lowes))) then get your cap and cut a hole in so that it will fit snug about the lens of your camera. cutting it wont be easy, i suggest using a knife and be extra careful. then screw the cap on and wall la. you did it, go have fun

    Submerged Camerawork Tips

    Tuesday, August 31st, 2010

Almost everything you can think of has already been invented and available on the market. Now even cameras are able to rise above their previous limitations. If before a digital camera could only capture photos of things that can be seen on land, by making use of technology, even fish can now share their moments through a camera lens.

It really is human nature to be unsatisfied with what we’ve got. Often times, humans want something new, something fresh, something interesting, and something uncommon. That is why, underwater photography caught the attention of most people – either they wish to learn to capture an underwater photo themselves, or they are just attracted because of the photos shot underneath the ocean.

In the event you belong to those who would like to take shots underwater, then these few tips might help you.

Underwater photography is, as the term implies, capturing pictures under water. Basically, the foundations of underwater photography are just the same as in normal photography, however, taking shots in a different environment may require a little more effort than taking a photo in a waterless environment.

The most important thing you need to bear in mind is that combined with the different environment you need to deal with, taking pictures underwater has numerous limitations – limited day light, limited equipment (as you cannot bring all your photography equipment underwater), limited time (of course, sooner or later, we must surface for air, thus our focus and momentum are interrupted).

Firstly, you need to know how to hold your digital camera the right way. It is suggested that you just try to stay at the bottom of the seabed. After you find a very good position, you should position the camera in the palm of your left hand, then steady it by using your other hand. It is important to maintain your upper arms close to your body, so that you won’t wiggle. Just be sure you support the camera with both hands, never use only one for it could potentially cause your hand to rattle, hence a blurry photo.

Now, it’s time for you to take your shot. Always bear in mind that in underwater photography, you have to take photos up close. If you are using a long shot technique, you’re putting more water between your lens and your subject, so a large possibility that your picture is blurry.

Nevertheless, if you are enjoying learning the fundamentals of underwater photography, it’s also advisable to keep in mind a number of things. Coral reef is an interesting subject, however if you touch it, it’ll die. Some irresponsible photographers still give it a go without considering the things they may harm. These creatures – they’ve got life – and you should be cautious about it. Keep in mind that a picture isn’t worth a life.

If you have to protect your environment from yourself, you might also need to protect yourself from the environment. As everyone knows, water is a bit dangerous. So prior to deciding to dive into water, you must first arm yourself with the skills and training for every part of underwater activities. No harm in preparing, right?
