i hate when people take the colour of the camera into account or some crap like that, it’s a fucking camera!!! the pictures are meant to look good not the camera itself!

@akajj1234 .. Sigh… No problems with Olympus here. I have used this camera since it was released and have had no problems at all. My friend have used his 1030sw since it was released with no problems. My sister uses the 770sw and are very pleased. I have several Olympus. In fact they serviced my first for free even though I bought it in an other region of the world. Thats GOOD service.. DSLR`s and I have been treated like royalty when I have had them serviced. Oly service rules!!! Big baby..
Although canon looks ugly as hell I still like to use it because for a small camera, I don’t really mind the look, but for my dslr, yes I look at both the features and the look, but mostly the features, because come on, who cares if the camera doesn’t look that nice, it’s the images that matter in the end, grow up people, cameras are not people, so it doesn’t matter if they don’t look so nice but they are very reliabe.

Hey People, Just don’t buy any Olympus Camera, because it breaks easily after just two months of using the nightmode won’t function anymore and all shots taken are blurry or washed out. This happened in just about two months of using and Olympus won’t acknowledge International warranty so you’ll end up with a useless expensive camera. If you are a first time buyer and want to try your luck, just don’t try your luck with olympus, it happened to me, it could happen to you.

I Used To Have The Fujifilm Z33 WP It Was Really Convenient Because Of The Water Proof And Stuff But The Pictures Where Way To Grainy For Me .

Is it possible to record video using macro feature with any of these cameras? For example to record video of a water bug from distance of a few centimeters? Which cameras have the hd video feature? Thanks.
I had a olympus mju790(7MP) and the picture quality is no where near panasonic FX7(5MP), and not to mention the ridiculously more expensive XD card over super affordable SD card. My olympus got stolen, then I bought FT1.The picture quality is superb and so is the video. But compare to sony DSC TX-5, FT1 is bit bulky by 32%. And sony is $200 more expensive. But maybe sony takes good quality pictures too. Has anyone had compare between between those two?
A year ago I made the mistake of buying the Fuji Z33WP. I wish I had seen this video first. Took the grandkids to a water park. I must have made a dozen attempts of my grandkids entering the water from the water-slide. All I could get is the splash afterwards. Add to that horrific shutter-lag is the times it just cant decide on what exposure setting to use. I missed many shots at a wedding reception because of this. I’m giving the Fuji to my grand-son and ordering the Canon.
I was thinking about getting the tough 8000 as i need a waterproof camera but are they really as bad as you say?

Go with the Canon D10. My sister bought the olympus because of my destructive kids. She thought it would be nice to have a camera that wouldn’t be ruined when my kids tossed it in the toilet. She hates the picture quality. I got the Canon D10 and I love it. She is so jealous of the quality and all of the cool functions that it has. You can really get creative with the pictures and videos you take. Love it!
